Education). Since July 2017 Founder & Creative Director of the Institute for Korean Shamanism in Berlin.

Member of the International Society for Academic Research on Shamanism (ISARS).

The last few years my work as a photographer and visual anthropologist centers essentially on the relation between man and the sacred.  I

conducted fieldwork and research in South Korea, India, Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, Indonesia, the Philippines and China. My topics are

Asian spirituality, shamanism (especially in South Korea) aesthetics of rituals and altered states of consciousness (trance, ecstasy and spirit

possession). My photography revolves around connecting  and capturing the essential human spirit with the perception of an ethnologist and the

heart of an artist.
